Thanks for taking the time to peek behind the curtain and learn a little bit about us and Dancin.com. As we build our Dancin.com Team we will expand this section to illustrate both the breath and depth of knowledge we are engaging to produce our site. Just like in dancing we are learning all over again, first how to walk before we can run. We appreciate your interest, support, and hope you return often to see how we are doing.

Chuck Fetta started his dance career in the late 1970's when Disco had taken a firm hold on the Long Island Night Club Scene. First with Hustle lessons as a student, Fetta turned professional in a quick 6 months after attending Dowling College. Studio parties, Night Clubs, Hustle Contests were all the order of the day. It was a fun time in N.Y., dancing all night and enjoying times with many of great dancers of the era ingluding, George Valasquez, Maria Torrez, Lori Brizzi, Ralph Ramirez, Derrick Allen, Artie Phillips, Maria Gomez, James Stanford, Roberto Pagan and many many more who can be seen at the Hustle Hall of Fame. www.hustlehalloffame.com
In 1980, a trip to California turned out to be the catalyst for the next career step. After meeting and making friends with the likes of DiscoDave Sarul, A-Man Avner Uzan, Lynn Vogen, U.S. Ballroom Champions Victor Veyrasset, Nick Cotton, & Debbie Avalos, and Austrailian Ballroom Champion Kerry Wilson, Fetta returned to N.Y. to further his dance training in the International style at the Dance Quarter of West Hempstead with Eddie and Ginny Norman. Fetta felt it important to learn and grow no matter what the challenge. Coaches along the way included: Pierre Dulaine, Bobby Medeiros, Brian & Christie McDonald, Sandra Fortuna, and Ron Montez.
In the three years to follow, Fetta partnered
with Dee Quinonnes for both Hustle and Ballroom Competitions winning
titles as The Mid United States Dance Champions and a Spot on the
popular TV dance show "Dance Fever". He continued dancing with Peggy
Heeney in International Modern Competitions up until 1986 when he
started a business that he still runs today. "The Office Furniture
Warehouse" is a well known supplier of commercial furniture in the N.Y.
and Long Island area. www.ofw.com
Always wanting to get back to dancing at some
point, Fetta stayed in touch with friends and colleagues along the way
which ultimately landed him in several productions and events. "The
History of Dance" episode of the Phil Donahue Show was one and more
recently as a Principal Dancer for the 2007 release of "Enchanted" a
Disney movie starring Patrick Dempsey.
In
the Mid 1990's, with the internet just starting to ramp up, Fetta
procured the domain "dancin.com" with the idea of someday producing a
complete dance resource website. After putting it on the back shelf for
a while it seems the dance bug has bit him once again. 2007 is set to
be the inaugural year for Dancin.com and DanceGenius.com,
a Dance specific Search engine powerd by Google. Fetta is ready for the
next chapter in his life and it's a chapter he wants filled with Rhythm.
