| Known in the Salsa Scene as
"Angel", Ashley McKenna is the Founder and Director of Cosalda Dance
Company. Salsa is where her heart is. She is a veteran Instructor with over 14
years experience in teaching beginners how to dance. A recognized Adjudicator,
as well as a professional Coach/ Choreographer. Ashley's style of Salsa
incorporates all the technique and grace of her Ballroom background, while still
having the fun and sexy styles of Street Salsa. Featured in Salsa Y Mas and Sabor
magazines as one of the rising stars of the Salsa scene. A quoted article

Dancing,
Acting, Modeling, and Singing have honed her skills. Appearance in productions
for Television, Stage, and Opera such as Mozart's Requiem, Don Carlo, Starburst,
and Mame with Toni Tennille name a few of her accomplishments. With recent
expansion to the New York stage in "The Tango Interlude" and MTV Video
with Luis Miguel. She has danced under the direction of renowned choreographers
and loves the learning experience (you never know everything) is a phrase she
uses often. Having danced at the Orpheum Theater in New Orleans, Louisiana. New
Orleans's own "American Ballroom" television show featured her
performing Professional Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Samba, Tango, and Swing on
several occasions. Teaching Certification was received from American Ballroom
Studios and, for many years, she has held NDCA Certification. While Ashley holds
Professional titles in both American and International Styles she still
continues her own training with various coaches in various styles of dance. | |

An Internationally known
instructor, Ashley teaches Private Lessons in New York, The Tri State Area,
& Texas in several styles of dance. "N.Y. Style Salsa/Mambo On 2",
"L.A. Style Salsa On 1", Casino Rueda Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cha
Cha Cha, Cumbia as well as Ballroom Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Swing, Rumba,
Samba, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Country/Western 2-Step and Polka, and is
available for Coaching and Adjudication. As
an Instructor Ashley brings her bright energetic style to the classroom. Making
lessons fun and easy is her motto." Her group classes are
renowned for being fun and friendly, easily understood, and a great place to
make new friends.
